What is Herbal Tea

Herbal Tea Herbal tea is not actually made from Camellia sinensis, but rather an herb or a mix of herbs. Herbal teas are different product altogether. The only fractor shared with tea is that they are made with boiling water. Their use, until the last decade, was largely therapeutic and distribution limited to health food trade. Only in the United States are these herbal mixtures called tea. They are usually referred to as an infusion or tisane in other parts of the world. However, quite large numbers of herbal teas are in the marketand probably for their great variety of taste and function. Out of dozens of herbal teas, Camomile, Peppermint, Rosehip, Matte, Fennel, Nettle Lemon, Morning blend, Night blend, Orange, Lemon, Cherry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackcurrant are few to name.
